Methodology - General
The BCPI ® BCM Methodology

Implements BS25999 framework on item-, task- and team levels.

Identifies business processes as the basic principle of Business Continuity Planning.

Allows self-determination with regards to BCM goals and rate of implementation.

This is one of very few BCM methodologies fully supported by BCM software, enabling the self- maintenance of valuable Business Continuity Plans.

A reduction in the quality of valuable Business Continuity Plans, following the use of word processors or spreadsheets, is prevented.

Knowledge is made as exchangeable between personnel as possible, ensuring independence from external consultants.

Provides access on an annual basis to new BCM databases containing information regarding BCM developments.

Deals with the three stages of the continuity plan:

1. Crisis management
2. Business contingency procedures
3. Recovery

always integrated during planning, implementation, assessment and monitoring.
